The Closer Season 7 Episode 1 - Unknown Trouble

The Closer is an American television police drama series. The show, which focuses upon the character of Deputy Police Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson (Kyra Sedgwick), is shown on Turner Network Television. Since its inception, the show has chronicled the cases of Johnson, who comes from Atlanta to Los Angeles to head up a special unit of the LAPD that handles sensitive, high-profile murder cases (Priority Homicide Division). Johnson's quirky personality and hard-nosed approach often rub her colleagues the wrong way, but her reputation as one of the world's best interrogators eventually wins over even her toughest critics.

Brenda and her squad have to investigate the reason why six people died and if the record label owner is responsible the six deaths. Sergeant Gabriel may have to be removed from the case because of his connection to two people from the church. Chief Delk is about to announce his plans for the reorganization of major crimes. Brenda's trouble use only beginning as she becomes the focus of the lawsuit filed against the police department.

Brenda and the squad investigate the owner of a record label after a rap artist is shot; Chief Delk prepares to announce the department's new organizational chart; Brenda is the target of a civil suit against the police department.

The arrest of a crack addict exposes a questionable rehab facility and leads Brenda's squad on a race to find a missing woman; Gabriel questions Brenda's judgment; Fritz reveals some ugly truths about his past.

Deputy Police Chief Brenda Johnson (Sedgwick) runs the Priority Homicide Division of the LAPD with an unorthodox style. Her innate ability to read people and obtain confessions helps her and her team solve the city's toughest, most sensitive cases.
